Grew up on So Cal, started going to DV in 1969. Moved to NY in 1986, realized I missed the desert by 1999, started coming back. Hooked my son, Noah into it in 2000. (let a 12 year old drive off highway – easy to hook ‘em in) Been coming back ever since.

My son, Noah, has worked out at Panamint Springs for a couple of summers. Now that we have real wheels out there, we can actually enjoy doing trails, instead of fighting with rental vehicles to get over the easy stuff. And Noah gets plenty of time this past summer to run trails, when he’s not fixing the bloody Heep.

  • Panamint Valley
  • Death Valley
  • Trying to go somewhere new every trip
